Description

This 3-day course will prepare participants to understand and utilize Fundamentals of Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). Participants will leave the training with applied knowledge of the SAFER-R model of individual crisis intervention, and the group crisis interventions of crisis management briefings, defusings, and critical incident stress debriefings (CISD). Follow-up services and referrals will be discussed. This training is intended for 1st Responders, Military, Mental Health Professionals, Hospital Staff, Clergy, School Staff, etc.

Presented in accordance with the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) and supported by St. Elizabeth Hospital (CommonSpirit Health).
