2025 Roadeo and Driver Training

YOUR TICKET TO KEARNEY!

You are invited to attend the 2025 NATP Annual Drivers Training & Statewide Roadeo competition! 

The all-day drivers training will be held Wednesday, September 17 at the Younes Conference Center South and the NATP 33rd Annual Statewide Roadeo will be held on Thursday, September 18 at the Nebraska Safety Center Driving Range.

A spirit award will be given to an attendee who exemplifies the train theme and spirit of the event through encouragement, attitude, costume/prop, etc.

7:30 a.m. Registration opens
8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - First Session: First Aid/CPR
9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Refresher PASS
11:30 a.m.–12:15 p.m. - Lunch 
12:15 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. - Second Session: First Aid/CPR
12:15 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. - Refresher Defensive Driving
2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Advanced Wheelchair Securement (Roadeo Edition)
4:30 p.m. - Written Test (Participants) / Judges Meeting (Judges)
5:30 p.m. - NATP Annual Meeting
Evening - Dinner on Your Own

Fairfield Inn - 510 W Talmadge Rd., Kearney, NE  
Need lodging? Hotel rooms will be available at the Holiday Inn on Tuesday & Wednesday nights, September 16 & 17. You must reserve your hotel room through NATP when you register online. Hotel rooms must be reserved by August 8th

All section 5311 drivers’ and managers’ rooms will be direct billed to the Department of Transportation. Any incidentals will be your responsibility.

Note: Travel expenses and registration fees for managers, drivers and dispatchers to attend this event will be reimbursed 100% through the RTAP program.
