Description

This 3-day course will prepare participants to understand and utilize Fundamentals of Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). Participants will leave the training with applied knowledge of the SAFER-R model of individual crisis intervention, and the group crisis interventions of crisis management briefings, defusings, and critical incident stress debriefings (CISD). Follow-up services and referrals will be discussed. This training is intended for 1st Responders, Military, Mental Health Professionals, Hospital Staff, Clergy, School Staff, etc.
